Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Bind (“the App”), developed by Alex Walters / AlexCo (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the App on Apple devices.
Information we store
Bind is designed so that your documents stay under your control:
- Document content (card details, photos, barcodes, and related data you enter) is stored on your device.
- App preferences (such as Face ID lock, appearance, and haptics) are stored on your device.
We do not operate a separate cloud server that receives your document contents.
Information we do not collect
We do not run our own analytics or advertising SDKs that track you across apps. We do not sell your personal information.
Face ID / Touch ID
If you enable biometric lock, authentication is handled by Apple’s LocalAuthentication frameworks on your device. Biometric templates never leave your device and are not accessible to the App.
Camera
Camera access is used only when you choose to scan or capture document images. Images you capture are stored with your documents as described above.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
